Dear Students and Families,
I am happy to be the sixth grade teacher this year in room 130, next to the art room. Our room’s precise coordinates are 34°25’33.17″N Latitude and 119°40’43.46″W Longitude. (Google Map, KML)
I am very much looking forward to working with this group of students, most of whom I had the opportunity to teach when they were in 2nd grade four years ago.
This year we are focusing on TRIBES learning communities to create a postive and safe campus climate. Our basic class rules will be based on the core agreements:
- Attentive Listening
- Mutual Respect
- Appreciations & No Put Downs
- Active Participation & The Right to Pass
I would like all students to bring to school one three inch three-ring binder, and at least 7 dividers.
Current student work will be displayed in the classroom, and parents are strongly encouraged to come, participate, and be of service in the classroom.
