Welcome to First GRADE!
I am Mrs. Rodriguez. I am excited to serve your son or daughter in their academic, personal and social development. I have about ten years of experience working in a Dual Immersion program and more than fifteen years of experience working with youth in the community. I am a teacher because I like to work hard and to help others achieve success. I want my students to experience significant and interesting learning that applies to their lives.
CHILDREN LEARN WHAT THEY LIVE
Teachers, parents and students are equal colleagues in education. It is important to cultivate the attitude that we are always learning and that’s why I’m always open to suggestions and help. Please don’t hesitate to call me on the phone or contact me by email at [email protected].
DAILY SCHEDULE (click image for a larger version / Spanish only right now!)
Students should arrive by 8:00 each day. Monday through Thursday we line up outside the classroom and on Friday we line up on the basketball court for our weekly assembly. Please be sure to sign the sign-in sheet every day. If your child has an older sibling, he or she may sign the younger one in also. Students may not leave without a signature.
We have Mrs. Encinas as a teacher aid in the classroom from 9:00 to 9:50 am.
